Nickname: Storm Lords

Clan of Origin: Nosferatu

Disciplines: Animalism, Potence, Tempestas

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Cold Breeze- A chill wind follows you everywhere you go. While it may make for dramatic entrances, this effect also discomfits mortals and marks you as obviously supernatural. Cold winds sweeping through executive offices or crowded nightclubs can raise all sorts of questions.

Attitude towards parent clan: Anemoi mainly feel pity for their twisted, deformed forebears, though this view can vary depending on whether one’s Sire was another Anemoi or an actual Nosferatu. Surely there were those among the first Anemoi who suffered abuse and hatred from Sewer Rat Sires who were enraged at their progeny’s lack of deformities, but there’s not the overwhelming prevailing hatred towards their ancestor clan as there is among, say, the Zorana. Most Anemoi seem to hold the attitude of “better them than me.”

Traits looked for in potential childer: Wealth, Influence, initiative

Nickname: Angels

Clan of Origin: Gargoyles

Disciplines: Celerity, Obfuscate, Beatus

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Glowing eyes- Your eyes glow when you become overly emotional (whether this is from anger, fear, or any other strong emotion).

Attitude towards parent clan: The Aneska are one of only two of the new clans (the other being the Salubri-spawned Viata) that have a strongly positive view of their ancestral line…to the point that if they run across a Gargoyle in trouble an Aneska will usually try to protect him/her.

Notes: Aneska, like Quarinah vampires, paradoxically become more beautiful after their Embrace, making their nickname aptly earned. Like their Gargoyle forebears they are winged, but the wings they gain in the hours after their Embrace are feathered rather than leathery. Pointed ears and perfect flesh give them a supernatural beauty than can be intense enough to make mortals feel uncomfortable around them. Their predator nature remains evident in their fangs and the razor-sharp talons on both their hands and feet. Some Aneska sired by Gargoyles possess nubs or small horns, but these are absent in those sired by fellow Aneska. Less strong and swifter than their Gargoyle predecessors, it was theorized that the first Aneska had been sired by a Gargoyle from Nosferatu stock…which could explain the presence of the Obfuscate discipline. Obfuscate is needed for Aneska, no matter its origin in their line, as the eerie winged vampires are incapable of passing for humans.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Kindness, generosity, caregivers

Nickname: Seers

Clan of Origin: Malkavian

Disciplines: Manteis, Obfuscate, choice of Celerity *OR* Auspex

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Moon madness- At a certain phase of the moon (player's choice), you gain a temporary derangement that lasts until the moon is in a different phase than the one that afflicts you.

Attitude toward parent clan: Most Darsana feel a mixture of respect and pity for Malkavians, though this pity is far less condescending than the pity felt by Anemoi towards Nosferatu…their pity falls more along the lines of “But for the grace of God go I…”

Notes: Some of the Malkavian-Sired Darsana inherited Auspex from their Sires, and others inherited Celerity. These Darsana in turn passed that particular discipline to their progeny when they sired.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Darsana primarily Embrace depending on the individual’s whims, though some seem to prefer people from occult backgrounds.

Nickname: Regals

Clan of Origin: Ventrue

Disciplines: Fortitude, Presence, Noblesse

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Only the Willing- The vampire can now only feed from a willing donor, and gains no nourishment if they take blood from someone who isn't. (Packaged blood is exempt from this) Like the Kurithos flaw, this permission cannot be supernaturally compelled, so an Erebos with this flaw had best cultivate some friends/lovers/ghouls.

Attitude toward parent clan: Many members of the clan have a definite air of competition when it comes to the Blue Bloods; wanting to prove their superiority to them in that they rule by ability rather than prestige.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Leadership skills, level headedness, teamwork

Nickname: Muses

Clan of Origin: Toreador

Disciplines: Auspex, Celerity, Morphis

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Nightmares- You experience horrendous nightmares (day mares?) every time you sleep, and memories of them haunt you during your waking hours. Some of the nightmares may be so intense that you mistake them for reality.

Attitude toward parent clan: To a much smaller degree Morphea feel the same superiority to Toreador that Erebos feel towards Ventrue, but most of them usually don’t make too much of a big deal about it.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Ambition, Entrepreneurs, creativity

Nickname: Spinners

Clan of Origin: Brujah

Disciplines: Celerity, Potence, Tempus

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Obvious Predator- Either your face or your immediate disposition lets people know that you have nothing good in store for them. Mortals react poorly to people who exude such a blatant air of menace.

Attitude toward parent clan: If anything, the logic-minded Nornir feel disdain for the Brujah; seeing them as little better than dim-witted punks and brawlers. This contempt for their parent clan is so widespread that some Nornir wonder if the Brujah were even truly their ancestral bloodline.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Intelligence, highly educated, analytical.

Nickname: Shadow Dancers

Clan of Origin: Kiasyd

Disciplines: Dominate, Potence, Thaumata

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Otherworldly taint- You now have a physical peculiarity (odd hair/eye color, glowing eyes, etc.) and/or just an odd aura about you which may make you stick out. Someone who suspects you're not "normal" may find themselves driven to find out what you really are.

Attitude toward parent clan: The Quarinah are fairly neutral towards the Kiasyd. Their origins don’t really concern them so much as their present and future. Even the fact that they resulted from a bloodline rather than a ‘true’ clan doesn’t faze them.

Notes: Quarinah are the new clan vampires most known for Embracing purely on the basis of looks. This has given them the (sometimes deserved, sometimes not) reputation for being shallow and hedonistic.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Beauty, charisma, artistic, manipulative

Nickname: Shapers

Clan of Origin: Gangrel

Disciplines: Fortitude, Bestia, choice of Animalism *or* Protean

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Territorial- You are extremely territorial, staking out a particular area as your hunting ground and reacting aggressively to Kindred trespassers. You are reluctant to leave your territory except in extraordinary circumstances.

Attitude toward parent clan: Thera don’t really have anything against the Gangrel, though like many among the new clans they do tend to see themselves as a more polished, superior version of them.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Survivors, animal-lovers, capable, individualistic, and rebellious

Nickname: Channelers

Clan of Origin: Giovanni

Disciplines: Dominate, Potence, Spiritus

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Smell of the grave- You exude an odor of dampness and newly turned earth that perfumes can't entirely cover. It makes mortals in your immediate presence uncomfortable.

Attitude toward parent clan: The vampires of clan Eidolon express mainly contempt for the Giovanni; seeing them as corrupt degenerates unworthy of immortality who squandered gifts that could be used to benefit the souls of the deceased instead of exploiting them.

Traits looked for in potential childer: People from a religious or spiritual background are strongly preferred

Nickname: Geomancers

Clan of Origin: Tzimisce

Disciplines: Auspex, Animalism, Solum

Humanity 6 gained flaw: The Uninvited- You can only enter a private dwelling with the spoken permission of a rightful inhabitant, and this permission cannot be supernaturally compelled. Rightful inhabitant has to be someone who actually LIVES in the house/room/apartment, not simply a temporary guest. In apartment buildings and private homes, the vampire can still enter the public areas of the building (lobbies, stairwells, elevators, halls), or the driveway/yard/roof/balcony, but they can't actually enter the private dwelling itself without permission.

Attitude toward parent clan: Kurithos primarily feel disgust for the Tzimisce, though they aren’t on an active crusade against their parent clan as the Zorana are. Most see them as sad, twisted monsters whose extinction will come soon enough without their help, so they’re glad to distance themselves from them as much as possible in the meantime.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Good breeding, proud, innovative

Nickname: Healers

Clan of Origin: Salubri

Disciplines: Auspex, Fortitude, Katharos

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Third Eye- You develop the third eye of your parent clan. It can either be the same color as your other ones, or more supernatural...with an odd color or even a cat-like pupil. In any case, it makes hiding what clan you're descended from impossible if an Old Breed vampire sees it.

Attitude toward parent clan: The Viata probably have the most positive attitude towards their parent clan, and if one of the few remaining Salubri are ever encountered by them, they have a tendency to be fiercely protective of them.

Occupations or traits looked for in potential childer: Caregivers, doctors, gentle, selfless

Nickname: Purifiers

Clan of Origin: Lasombra

Disciplines: Dominate, Potence, Aduro

Humanity 6 gained flaw: Touch of frost- Plants wither as you approach and die at your touch. Your touch leeches heat from living beings, as though you were made of ice.

Attitude toward parent clan: No other of the new clans possess a burning hatred towards their clan of origin than the Zorana do for the Lasombra…mainly due to the fact that in the wake of Gehenna many Lasombra sires slaughtered their ‘defective’ childer. Those who managed to escape sowed seeds of vengeance among the others and in those they themselves sired; culminating in an out and out declaration of war. Not content to simply let the remaining Lasombra die out on their own, the Zorana actively hunt them down.

Traits looked for in potential childer: Loyalty, dedication, ruthlessness
